lyrics
Overwhelmed by all of the noise
Flirting with the morning shave
Holding my breath to feel the void
Confined to this early grave
Swallow more pills
To fight the taint
Swallow more pills
To face the day
If i wake with a smile on my face
Put me down in the place that I lay
I feel no pleasure when the frost melts
And I'm forced to live another day
Fuck that I don't wanna go outside
It's full of snakes and rats armed with cyanide
I can't exterminate this feeling inside
So to these four walls I'll have to confide
Swallow more pills
To fight the taint
Swallow more pills
To meet your end
Don't trust
Don't trust
Don't trust
Don't trust
Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.
Don't trust morning people
Don't trust morning people
Don't trust morning people
Don't trust morning people
So grab that fucking bottle
And fill your gut with pills
If the anxiety doesn't get you
Then the sword sure fucking will

Awesome album! it's very noticeable that a lot of effort and thought has gone in to this. Well crafted, fully fleshed out songs, great atmosphere, tasty riffs and incredible vocals.
Looking forward to hearing more from thus band. lachlannband

With influences like Sabbath, Kyuss, Sleep and Windhand, I expected a generic but solid album. Ah, but they didn’t tell us what parts of those bands they meant. Gravity Well under-promised and seriously over-delivered with an album of space-aged Doom that’s closer in spirit to Acid King than any band I’ve heard. AOTY contender without a doubt. Scott Spiers
A fantastic debut showing from Baltimore metal band Born of Plagues, uniting post-metal's expansive textures with sludge's almighty muck. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2021

More cathartic, atmospheric heaviness from the German doom metallers, balancing no-nonsense hooks with proggy flourishes. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 14, 2023

The vocals are freaking killer! The clean vocalist sounds like an angel and the dirty vocalist sounds like a demon. Now that’s a perfect mix writingwrong
